ICH position statement on the availability of homeopathic medicinal products

Homeopathic medicinal products are utilized by millions of people around the world and build the cornerstone of homeopathy.
The International Council for Homeopathy advocates for standardization and harmonization on all levels. As a part of the global TCIM (Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine) ecosystem, homeopathy and homeopathic medicinal products should be available, respected, researched, and integrated for the benefit of global health and well-being.

ICH position statement on the Practice of Homeopathy and Homeopathic Education

Homeopathy is the most widespread form of complementary and alternative medicine worldwide (today referred to as traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine) and it is currently practiced on every continent. The practice of homeopathic medicine varies considerably throughout the world. The ICH position paper reflects on the models, advantages and requirements of a well-developed self-regulated profession.

ICH Homeopathy in Pandemics Policy Statement August 2021

Homeopathy, with a long history of successfully addressing infectious diseases, including past epidemics and pandemics of scarlet fever, cholera has a variety of therapeutic treatment options needed in epidemics, particularly in emerging infectious diseases. Investigation of complementary modalities such as homeopathy seems not only justified but necessary.

The International Guidelines for Homeopathy Education

The “International Guidelines for Homeopathy Education 2011” is a joint publication by the International Council for Homeopathy (ICH) and the European Central Council of Homeopaths (ECCH). It sets out an international framework for training competent, autonomous homeopaths, covering key areas such as homeopathic principles, materia medica, clinical training, practice management, ethics, and teaching, learning and assessment methods — including e-learning approaches.
