What can you expect from a qualified homeopath?

A qualified homeopath

Is registered with an official national professional association or register
Meets recognised standards of education and professional training
Adheres to ethical and professional guidelines
Maintains professional insurance where required
Understands when referral to another healthcare professional may be necessary
Works with care, confidentiality, and respect for each individual patient

How does a homeopathic consultation work?

Homeopathic consultations are designed to understand you as a whole person and are usually more in-depth than a standard medical appointment.
A consultation may include:

An initial consultation lasting approximately 1–2 hours
A detailed discussion about your health, medical history, and overall wellbeing
An explanation of the homeopathic approach and treatment process
Consideration of additional medical examinations or referral to other healthcare professionals when appropriate
Selection and prescription of an individualised homeopathic remedy, including guidance on its use
Careful documentation of the consultation and follow-up recommendations

Homeopathy aims to support the individual in a holistic and patient-centred way, taking physical, emotional, and mental aspects into account.
